In this episode Brandon interviews Dr. Adam Hensley, assistant professor of Old Testament Studies and Hebrew at Australian Lutheran College in Adelaide Australia.
They focus their conversation on Adam's expertise in the Psalms. They discuss what the psalms are, how they teach us to pray, how they are arranged, and much MUCH more.
One quick note: Adam uses the word "Antitype" to refer to Jesus several times throughout this episode. This just means that Jesus is the fulfillment of a promise or prophecy foreshadowed or prefigured by someone or something in the Old Testament.

In this episode Brandon interviews Christian Jones, the executive Director of the Flint Mission Network, which is a collection of Lutheran ministries to inner city Flint Michigan. This episode is a little longer than normal because before Brandon and Christian first talked a bit about the work Christian is doing and what it means to be a Lutheran. When the conversation turns to prayer, however, they go pretty deep and ask some of the hard questions like, “Why does prayer sometimes feel like talking into a void?” and “What do you say to people whose prayers aren’t being answered.
